It seems like a few years ago nobody knew about that creamy thing called „Hummus“ – now it is our gamechanger for almost everything. No matter what you dip in it – bread, crackers, raw vegetables, toast, burgers – it literally tastes good with everything. And the best thing about it? It is not only hight in healthy vitamins, omega-3 fats, iron and zinc, it is also so easy to make by yourself.

Ingredients: Chickpeas (in a glass – more or less 425g)

Lemon juice of 2 lemons

1 teaspoon of sea salt

4 cloves of garlic

2 tablespoons of Tahini

1/2 cup olive oil

1 teaspoon ground Turmeric (or 2 tsp fresh)

a pinch of pepper

7 tablespoons of water

 

In a blender: Add chickpeas, lemon, sea salt, garlic, tahini, olive oil, turmeric, pepper, and water. Blend for 1 minute until it is smooth. Enjoy hummus as a dip with everything you desire, or put it in burgers/wraps or as a topping for bowls!
